A list of competitions and contests for a variety of classes:

  • Collegiate Business Strategy Competition - The contest uses the Business Policy Game. Ideal for: Marketing Management or possibly Strategy
       
  • Direct/Interactive Marketing Challenge - Sponsored by PitneyBowes and the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation, this involves running an integrated marketing program for a specific client
          
  • Google Online Marketing Challenge - Student teams get free vouchers to execute a search marketing campaign on behalf of a Web site of their choice. Ideal for: Advertising or E-Marketing
      
  • Manitoba International Marketing Competition - The contest emphasizes product and service brand line portfolio management through indirect and direct channels in multiple categories and market regions. Ideal for: Marketing Management or Marketing Strategy
     
  • Marketplace Global Competition - This challenge uses the MarketPlace simulation. The emphasis is on market analysi, strategy formulation, and management of strategy. Ideal for: Marketing Management or Marketing Strategy
     
  • NASA Means Business - NASA invites student teams to help it get innovators to utilize the Nation's investment in spaceflight to grow their investments in knowledge and commerce. The contest calls for students to design a promotional plan to this end. Ideal for: Marketing Communication, New Product Development
     
  • Retail Location Analysis Competition - This contest is sponsored by the American Collegiate Retailing Association. Students are charged with selecting a new site for a specific franchise store and developing a business plan to support their site selection. Ideal for: Retailing or Entrepreneurship
     
  • Russ Berrie Institute National Sales Challenge - The Russ Berrie Institute at William Paterson University sponsors three competitions: a sales call role-play, speed selling, and an in-basket sales exercise. Ideal for: Sales
     
  • Yellow Pages Competition - Yellow Pages Competition - The Yellow Pages Association asks undergraduate students to create print and Internet Yellow Pages advertising. A total of $10,000 in prizes are offered. Ideal for: Advertising, Marketing Communications, or Direct Marketing
